Where families are found, formed

and flourish.

To us, family isn’t just your relatives. It’s the people you choose to connect and grow with. We create spaces and projects where strangers become friends, and friends become family.

Our manifesto

So many people from all walks of life have found a sense of belonging here. Strangers form friendships, and friends become family. Here’s what we believe families can do.

Found

Stumbling across people you feel like you belong with. Finding your place and being accepted, exactly as you are.

Formed

Creating new connections and strong bonds with strangers, that become friends, that become family.

Flourish

Strengthening and upskilling every family member, so they can thrive across all aspects of life.

OUR FLAGSHIP PROJECT

Celebrate

"Equipping families to cook easy,
healthy meals on a low budget."

How it works

1

Referred by a partner

Schools, charities, housing
associations and social workers
refer households that would
benefit from a recipe course.

2

We box it up

Our staff and volunteers sign up to 20 households at a time, then prepare and portion every ingredient by household size.

3

Families cook at home

Boxes are collected from our community spaces twice a week, ready to cook easy, affordable meals from scratch.

Free of charge — we don't means-test our support

Every household can access the course for free. You’re welcome to
donate towards your boxes, or pay it forward to cover another family’s
costs.

Community spaces

Community is at our course which is why we have a community space for you to come and meet new, lovely location people.

The Break Room

Twice a week · Child-free

We understand that it can be difficult to have a conversation while keeping an eye on children.

Stay & Play

Twice a week · All ages

A space for all ages, including families with children, with different enrichment activities each week run by our brilliant volunteers. Everyone’s welcome.

Joined-up support that helps families thrive.

We believe the best way to serve our community is in partnership. Together we can achieve more, and reach the households who need it most.
